Niagara Falls trip

My Fiance Holly & I went up to Niagara Falls for the long weekend that just past... Thought I would share some pictures of the good times we had... A lot of the pictures are from the Helicopter we took up over the falls - some pretty cool pictures...

I've resized them all from 2856x2142 pixels... They were kinda large when I took them... haha 🙂

Well a congrats isnt really in order... We've been engaged since June 4th... 🙂 I just took a pic of the ring for the heck of it... 🙂

Yeah - The helicopter flight is worth EVERY penny... amazing scenery up there... and from the helicopter above the falls, you can see downtown Toronto + skydome in the distance over the lake! CRAZY!

well im from england so we kinda had to everything at once lol! coz i doubt we'd be able to afford to come back

plus....i have never seen water so clean!
 
I don't remember hearing about the ring either ... congrats, and great pics. I've never made it to Niagara yet ... would love a chance to take a golf holiday in the region. :thumbsup:
 
We were on the Canadian side... Even if you are American I would suggest coming over here for the better view... just the way it is all setup...

Yeah - I took a picture of one of the golf courses from the helicopter... not sure if I uploaded it or not, but just amazing courses up there!!

Ahh... then yes, you would have too... 🙂 but then again you would be spendnig more then 1 day there... 🙂 we live so close we can just go up for the day if we want...

you mean my favourite pic of the lot? 😉 i guess John Daly has a new course there. interestingly enough, in Golf Digest's September issue, they have an article on great places to play near common tourist attractions. under "Niagra Falls" - they list 4-5 courses, all of which are in Ontario. 😀
 
Congrats! I live about an hour away from the Falls, and went there the other month.

Question for you, what's a helicopter flight cost?

Thats cool man... amazing scenery up there... We drove through Niagara On The Lake and neither of us would have minded a house in that town... haha 🙂

Helicopter flight was through Niagara Helicopters, was $100.00/each... the flight is about 20 minutes long... Was very well worth it!
 
damn those heli pics are awesome! gf and I went drove up to Niagara falls over 4th of July weekend also. The drive up 81 is absolutely beautiful. The only thing we didnt do in Niagara is the helicopter ride. looks like we missed out on a lot!!

where did you stay? American side or Canadian side? We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton over in St. Catherines, Canada. Awesome hotel...super clean and really friendly staff...and only a 10 min drive away from the falls (didnt want to stay right on the falls area because hotels are super expensive there)

looks like you had a good time! was it crowded? It was PACKED when we went there!!!

Dude, If you are going to go... log onto their website first... Niagara Helicopters There is a coupon on there for $10 off each adult... 😀

I didnt even think to check when I went... but we didnt go with intentions to go up...

We stayed at a crappy hotel way down Lundy's Lane... like you say, it was PACKED there... and because of the long weekend, they were charging $270/night for a hotel room... so we found one that was $129... cheapest we could find... We'd much rather blow our money on other stuff then a place to sleep for 6 hours... heh

We went up there for New Years a few years ago and stayed in the Sheraton right down by the falls... was awesome 🙂
