One of the guys at work is running a playoff pool and asked me if I'd like to participate.
I would like to, but I never have before. I'm only a casual hockey fan and only semi-follow the Red Wings, let alone any other teams. How do these pools work? I'll ask for more details before I actually buy into it, but all I know so far is that he wants my picks in before the playoffs start and it's a $10 buy in.
So how does this normally work? I see some things online saying you pick 25 players, but I got the impression we're picking teams for this pool. I suppose it depends on how the person running the pool wants to do it, huh?
