NHL hockey season - when does it end?

I might be going to Vancouver sometime later this year (in a few months). Went last year in Easter, and caught one of the Stanley cup matches.

When does the hockey season finish/when is the Stanley cup on this year? Might try and catch some matches if they coincide with this years Easter.
And yes, I'm assuming the Canucks are going to get into the playoffs 😛.
