Pens GM will not accept anything for the first pick, especially from the Habs. Hell, I don't care if someone came up with an amazing package, this kid is going to bring in a ton of money for the team. I can guarantee this more than I can guarantee anything in life - the #1 pick will not be traded.

It is July 30th. TSN will be broadcasting it, MSG (here in NY) will be picking it up: maybe a couple other local networks that cover hockey (like Altitude in Colorado) It won't be on ESPN or anything.

THIS guy's team won the Stanley Cup last year, holds the NHL record for attendance, has the forum with the greatest capacity, consistantly holds max capacity and when the season was announced a go last week, sold Season Tickets faster than any other team. 😀

No way TB is the only southern exception, look at Dallas.

Great fan base, and a team that isn't in as bad shape financially as many others (and that's with an $80 mil payroll).

Between showing ridiculously laughable "sports" and shunning NHL broadcasts (or even highlights), I've grown a real distaste for the ESPN network. I heard friggin Bill Clemente broadcast a lumberjack show the other day. Ridiculous waste of talent.

Anyone catch the hot dog eating contest and the arm wrestling championships ? World's Strongest Man reruns from years ago are fun too! What a great lineup they've got going on! :roll:

I don't have a hate for the Rangers actually. I hate the Isles more. I think the Rangers definitely *deserved* within the top 5.

The Rangers are the epitome of a team that deserves to be in the league basement. They have (had?) all the money in the world and blew it all on washed up ex-superstars with no team chemistry.

Yup, hope they draft well. They several picks in the first 3 rounds. I believe they have 3 2nd round picks (theirs, phillys, and torontos).
