NHL 2001 > 800x600?

With the NHL PLayoffs unde way I decided to fire up NHL 2001. Now first it was all and good at 1220x720 ( or whatever the figures are ) then I used EA's auto update and patched it. Now I the highest possible resolution is 800x600. Anyone know how to get it back up?
