The NGO ATI Optimized Driver is a tweaked version of the ATI Catalyst driver. The main purpose is to satisfy the users with a better performance and better image quality. The Driver has support for all Radeon cards (both desktop and mobile platforms).

Features:
? Based on the Official ATI Catalyst 5.3
? Tweaked for both OpenGL and DirectX platforms
? Performance and Quality are both balanced
? Included 9500 > 9700 and 9800SE > 9800 Softmod
? Included several Utilities such as: ATITool, RefreshForce, and Windows XP Universal Tweaker.

Changes:
? Updated base to Catalyst 5.3
? The new OpenGL Driver from ATI improves old OpenGL games performance and now the OpenGL Switcher is not necessary. So it?s been removed from the archive.
? Added Windows XP Universal Tweaker v0.3 to the archive.
? Fixed few Installation bugs with Windows 2000

If they work? 🙂 Course they work!! About the benchies, we could do some benchies but that would not be the right thing for us to do since people would just scream out that the benchies were biased and we really dont need that kind of publicity. Ill leave it the major tech sites like anandtech. That way people can get a more correct idea of the drivers performance. 😉
