I don't believe so. If it does, then my bro is missing out on some quality since the demo runs smoothly (albeit at 640x480) on his GeForce2 GTS.

Well that doesn't mean it doesnt cause halo can run on a vid card that doesnt support dx9 and it uses PS 2.0. Though still I dont believe it does. Just a lot of shiny things is all.

-And its one hell of a game, im freaking addicted...

According to a Spanish gamer's magazine it does use it for some effects. Can anyone corfirm this?

I think the motion blur or another of those fancy framerate-killers (that b0rk AA) may be DX9.
