I installed Porsche Unleashed twice now, defragmenting twice now. I've installed once with Custom installation, and once with typical. My current installation iteration, is typical installation. The problem is, all goes well until setup gets to the part, EAUpdate sets up. It looks like a clean install, until it tells me to select soem options, like read the readme for EAUpdate. I do not see anything for me to choose, before I hit OK.
So EAUpdate isn't in my StartMenu, and cannot be executed from the CD, nor from it's Program Directory. It uninstalls cleanly, seperately, but I just can't get it to 3.5 standard.

DX7.0a
AMD 550 o/c'ed to 800 2/5 cache, 1.85 volts
MSi K7PRO 1.6 BIOS
GeForce SDR 32MB w/ 6.18 reference drivers
TB Montego, with latest Montego drivers
Creative Labs PC-DVD 20x/2x
Generic Floppy
Cable Modem
10/100 NIC PCI
For my network, I have the @home software uninstalled, no Microsoft Network, and just TCP/IP, and My NIC displayed under network properties. I get on the net, I registered, so I don't think this could be a factor into me getting EAUpdate to work. This thing is driving me insane. I don't think it's my processor either, because I just fired up Flanker 2.0, the most picky of all applications I have, and it works like a charm. NFS
U not only doesn't want to update, it locks up constantly. I've raised my voltage from 1.80 to 1.85, and finally to 1.90. Since I'm not playing the game, I have it running at 1.85 volts.
I'm getting really mad here. Blew my day's pay on a game taht works for everyone else, and not me. I'd vent my frustrations through Rogue Spear, but that CD is scratched too badly.
WAHH! PLEASE HELP!
