Soo all my other games work on my 50" Panny except when I load NFS: Carbon, it quits after flashing a couple times and wont load... when i run it on my pc monitor it runs fine... any ideas?

Its the only game that doesn't like my external monitor hookup...

Thanks

Never had a problem with it on my old 42" Plasma Panny.

Can you hook up another monitor, get it to load up on that, fiddle with the internal game settings and then try?

Sounds more like a game problem than a PC to TV problem.

just so you know, i could never get Carbon to work on a widescreen monitor. hence i bought a regular screen 20.1 inch monitor last year. also GTA San Andreas wouldnt look right in widescreen and Scarface wouldnt look right in widescreen.

maybe this has something to do with the game not working :Q

Yeah I think there was a patch a while back just to get it to work on wide screens... i cant remember.. Hmm... ( i meant i put it in so it would work on my 24" Dell) so not sure why it wont work on my Panny. Dang...

what method are you hooking up your tv, is it via external tv out or using a dvi-hdmi cable?

for me I had the same problem when trying to run UT3 on my TV . I found out that the resolution was set too high (1680x1050) and it ran fine after I changed it to the TV's resolution 37" lcd.
