NFS Carbon on Live Marketplace

The highly anticipated Need For Speed Carbon just got a little closer apparently. EA has just released a demo of the game to Xbox Live Marketplace. It clocks in at a smooth 1 Gig and includes the following cars and race modes for you to enjoy:

Cars:
Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION IX
Lamborghini Gallardo
Camaro Concept

Race modes:
Circuit Race
Canyon Duel
Drift Race

The 360 demo is horrendous. Graphics are ugly, the framerate is terrible (and takes a big time nose dive in some spots), the control doesn't feel right..etc. I hope that is the xbox version that EA put on the marketplace by mistake and not the 360 version because it is pure crap. No way anyone can play a racing game with that framerate either.

I'll wait for a pc demo and hope that is better.

Blame EA! Looking forward to this game, but I don't have a 360 so hopefully on PC.

heh.. I thought Most Wanted was a step in the right direction. I would like a return of the Hot Pursuit series which MW reminded me off. I hope the pc version of Carbon performs better or maybe the 360 demo is not what the final version will be like (I hope).
