NForce5 and SLI

I was wondering when this new chipset with SLI comes out, how will it be implemented in a BTX form factor. With pics that I have seen on the web of the BTX Intel has positioned the cpu in front of the case. Won't the video card(s) be in the way of the cpu. I hope I put this question in the "Highly Technical" forum.

The video cards are still located lower in the case than the CPU. BTX basically puts the CPU up front and has an intake fan pulling air directly across the CPU. Case temperature is usually higher than outside air, so the idea is to get the cool air to the CPU sooner rather than later. If you check out http://www.anandtech.com/casec...oc.aspx?i=2276&p=4 you can see that the GPU slots are not at all in conflict with the location of the CPU. Basically, the motherboard designers will make sure that your CPU and GPU fit together (hopefully). GPU cooling, of course, may get worse due to the added heat of the CPU. However, if the CPU "box" vents its heat out the rear of the case it would not raise the ambient case temperature as much.

This is not the place for this question however. If you wanted the schematics or how the traces were running on BTX then that would be a valid topic.
