nForce4 Ultra recommendation

I'm building a system, and looking for a good mobo to tie it all together. If anyone can recommend something based on this info I'd be very appreciative:

AMD 3800 dual-core (will oc, but I'm still learning)
X1800XT video
WD 250 GB SATA hard drive
Lite-on DL DVD drive (IDE)
Scythe Ninja
2 GB Corsair value RAM

I will be playing games (Oblivion) so that is a definitely important. I don't care about sli/crossfire, so I figured nForce4 Ultra would be the way to go - if there's a non-sli chipset that performs better I'd love to know.

Need at least 1 firewire for home recording studio. Would like 3 PCI slots - the x1800xt will likely obscure one of them, and I need two useable slots. I'm willing to spend up to $150 on this mobo, but will not scoff at "value" boards if they perform well.

Thanks in advance...love this forum, wonderful resource.

The absolute best ultra board on the market is the asus a8n-e.after buying 3 other ultra boards before this one, none of them even came close.this is the best all around non sli board out.i bought a fire wire card due to the fact all other boards have the 1394a chip.i bought the higher performance 1394b chip and its much faster.it has plenty of pci slots,3,.i have a tv tuner card and a pci firewire card in mine.its layout is perfect, stable as a rock,o/clocks well, mature bios.cant say enough good things about this board.has no issues at all.the only other board that did impress me was the msi platium ultra board.it did pretty well but was alot more money and after 2 months the ram slots started to fail so i rma'ed it and bought the asus.go for it ,there is no way you will be disappionted.its a very popular board, been running it now for 7 months and never a crash, blue screen or anything.its as close to a perfect board as could be built by humans.
