I'm sure this has come up already, so im looking for links to good information.
I have a friend who wants to me set up his nforce4 (its almost the same baord i have except it has the power controller on it) as a RAID. Two hard drives both SATA1 but of unequal sizes. The computer is used for graphic arts work; ie premiere, 3d studio max and thoes types of programs. Not an option to get two equal sized drives, i already recommended it. I've never setup a raid before. Someone else set up his computer the frist time. Odd quirk, they set up a single drive as a stripe and it works faster then when it isnt striped. I read something briefly about setting up a single drive striped in winxp because of some controller windows put in and it working faster. Any links or information about any of these things is greatly appreciated as i want to figure out as much as i can before i try to do it and have his computer OOS for two or three weeks.
