nforce4 drivers

i think most would say "if it is not broken, do not 'fix' it"

on a side note, dolly parton has gargantuan boobs.

dont worry about the 2nd line. if they are brand spanking new, i would hold out and check around to see if any notable problems exist.

they could help performance but how much? 5%? probably not. in which case it is not worth the headaches drivers can sometimes be. but if you are itching for more perfomance give it a try, you can always go back to the old ones.

You said "need" in your title.

If it runs fine and you dont feel any weird bugs, I would leave it. Motherboard driver updates probably arent going to do anything for performance, mostly just bug fixes.

oh and btw, for those that know what nvidia's ntune is, if i use that to raise the speeds of my fsp, will that void the warranty on my cpu? motherboard?

I wouldn't update your MoBo drivers unless you need to (e.g. you're getting a dual-core CPU).

But updating video card drivers is rarely a bad idea, especially if you have a newer model card or use SLI/Crossfire.
