Nforce3 250gb vs. Nforce3 Ultra

Looks like the 250gb only comes in socket 754 so if I want a winchester cpu I need to go with the Nforce3 Ultra. Would going 754 and 250gb be that bad of a mistake?

P.S. I need an AGP slot for my brand new 6800GT.

The nForce3-250Gb and nForce3 Ultra are identical except that the Ultra supports 1000MHz HTT and is used on socket 939 boards, the 250Gb supports 800MHz HTT and is used on 754 processor.

What processor do you plan to buy, how much do you want to spend and do you overclock?

If I went socket 754 I would go with a 3400+ NewCastle. If I go 939, I would go with a 3200+ Winchester. I will want to overclock but not too extreme. I've always owned Intel CPU's and I'm very familiar with them and overclocking them, I just know very little about AMD.
