nForce2 Motherboard Recommendations

Trying to decide on a new nForce2 mobo to put in my machine. Recently purchase 2x256 sticks of the Mushkin Promo Build. Have an Athlon XP1700 but am considering the Barton XP2500. Have a PAL 8045 hsf, but could use Thermaltake TR2-M2 w/ TMD Fan. Might put the fan on a Thermalright SK-6+.

Considering the Abit NF7-S, Asus A7N8X Deluxe, Epox 8RDA+ and the Biostar M7NCDP. Which mobo would you recommend?

Well, I just put a 1700xp tbred b on an 8RDA+. Nothing but good results. I'm running it at 10 x 201 with a 512 stick of Corsair XMS 3200. This is about as high as it seems it wants to go, but I don't that getting 2.02 ghz out of a 1.4ghz chip is bad at all. The only problem I had with the board is that my keyboard won't work when I have the power LEDs plugged into the board.

Take a look at the Soltek SL-75FRN2-RL Ultra400 while your at it if you don't need IEEE 1394 or soundstorm. It's won several best value awards and is among the best overclocking NF2 boards.

Well, first take a look at the other 8 gazillion times this question has been asked on this forum, see what the recommendations were. Then, pick a board, they are all good, but what features do you want/need and how much are you willing to spend?

Thanks for the inputs. It looks like the Soltek SL-75FRN2-RL was about $10 less a month ago.
It also got several recommendations in the thread here.

I will add it to my list.

There's a bunch of Golden Flame reviews in the Official thread brudda, just look up 😉

Soltek owns... proud owner of my 2nd Soltek mainboard and they are probably my favorite mainboard manufacturer overall!

in my main machine:

SL-75FRN2-L

used to be in my main machine:

SL-75DRV4

love them both.
