1.ok the way it has been explained to me ANY DDR ram can be used in a dual channel config as long as there are two sticks. i would like some clarification on this.

2. i have been unable to locate any company(s) that produce an Nforce2 motherboard with an onboard gf4 mx, ive read that they were suppose to be made in this way but i havent located any. if any of these are currently being produced i would grately appreciate a link to these motherboards.

thanks everyone

PS sorry if im a bit out of it, its 2:40am and ive been doing research for hrs LOL

I've been watching for those nF2 boards with the onboard video and haven't seen any yet either. Anyone with inside info on when they'll show up, please step forward! :Q

well the reason i would is because im on a budget from what ive heard the onboard gf4 mx can run better than the geforce4 mx 420 and sometimes 440 which retial for like 85, and 95 respectivly (i think)

and since im only using a geforce 2 mx due to bizzare problems i was having with my gf2 mx 400 then i figured i could kill two birds with one stone, by 1. getting a nice mobo with lots of features: 1394, usb2, onboard lan(somtimes two), and dual channel ddr and it wouldnt cost me much more than getting one of those cards.

that was my reasoning anyway.

That would be a good solution for my office system. Currently I use nForce "1" (nForce220D), but I wouldn't say no to the performance boost, added features and greater future upgradability of nForce2. The onboard video is plenty in either case... although a DVI-out would be nice :D

i sent and e-mail 2 MSI asking them when they expect the new MBoards will be available. no answer yet. but there's a store in the UK (at www.komplett.co.uk) that claim they'll b selling the new K7N2G's on the 10th of Jan (i.e., in like 10-9 days). i'm waiting for those boards myself, but if i can't get um by the 13th-14th of this month, im goin for the Leadtek.
a friend of mine told me about a website dedicated 2 the NForce boards (i didn't check it out yet): www.nforcershq.com.
hope this helps.

Update:
i just checked that site (nforcers.com) and i found this: http://www.nforcershq.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3021. just some photoes of the new MSI board, and some nutcases :)D) talkin bout it. enjoy. (ain't she a beauty...)
