Greetings all,

Building a system for a friend. He wants stable, reliable and easy to use.
Of course Nforce be the way to go.
But he specifically stated he wanted one with onboard graphics, and thinks of overclocking down the road.

- With the onboard graphics enabled, how much overclocking potential is there??

- And of the boards with onboard graphics, which would be the one to choose??

All replies and such are met with great thanks :D

That's an unusual set of priorities... he wants to overclock, but also wants relatively-slow 3D acceleration that would be beaten by a $40 64MB GF4MX440 AGP card?

There will be a detailed guide for overclocking the IGP posted at nForcersHQ.com tomorrow or Monday in the overclocking section so check it out :) Mech is right though that you can get a 400ultra board and G4MX 440 8X for about the same money and it'll be clearly superior in 3D performance, particularly with the system and card overclocked.

I thought so too in regards to the video card and a board, but that's what his requirements were.

DAPUNISHER, thanks for the info about the guide. Should be a good read :)
