I'm hoping I put this in the right forum....

I'm considering building a basic nForce2 based system to use as a second gaming system. It won't see as much usage as my primary system, but I still want it to perform somewhat well. Does anyone have any experience playing games like UT2k3, BF1942, and SOF2 on the nForce2 IGP motherboards (GF4 MX440)?

I've used a GF4MX440se based video card before, and to be honest it was not good enough for playing these games. I'm hoping the onboard video in the nForce2 IGP boards is better.

thanks.

I'm afraid it's not better enough. You'd better buy a graphic card (at least a 8500LE) if you want to play those games.

I play UT2003 all the time on my Nforce1 board. It's an A7N266-VN so it doesn't even use dual channel. I plan to upgrade to a discrete solution soon but for now I can play all the games I want to, although most I have to play at 800*600. I'd like to imagine that the Nforce2 would be faster so if I had that I'd prolly not waste my time buying a board unless I was getting a 9500+ or better vid card.
