Could someone please educate me as to what the different nForce2 chipsets mean? I've had a hard time finding info on the NVidia site. There are various types, IGP, SPP, MCP, MCP-T, and I think some more. I'm trying to compile a list of micro-atx nForce2 motherboards, but don't understand the difference in chipsets.

I'm also trying to determine if anybody makes a micro-atx board with the dual ethernet ports, and also dual CPUs. I read a company called IPox is supposed to come out with one. I've never heard of them though...

If you have links to documents I can read I'd be happy to check them out.
Here's a few that I've found so far, but they refer to the normal ATX boards:
ExtremeTech nForce2 Smackdown link
Digit-Life nForce2 roundup link
NordicHardware nForec2 roundup link

thanks.

you can try to look on nVidia's site (www.nvidia.com), on nForce page ;)

i am not very sure, but i think it's like this:
IGP = Northbridge, with Integrated Graphic
SPP = Northbridge, without Integrated
MCP = Southbridge, 2-channel audio
MCP-T = Southbridge, 6-channel DTS audio

nForce2 does not support Dual CPU's. They did have aplan to come out wiht a Dual CPU board but it got killed in favor of the Opteron nForce3 chipset.

If you want Dual Athlons then 760MPX is the only way right now.
If you want a mATX nForce2 board then look at the Shuttle board at newegg.com
