I am running my leadtek nf2 w/ 2100+ @ 2.3ghz and 2x PC2700 256mb, very happy about it and rock solid. Last nite I add a stick of PC3200 512mb ram and something funny happen.
1) On leadtek startup screen, it will tell u if dual channel is enable which I was w/ 2x PC2700. As soon as I add the 3rd ram, that message gone...
2) I am at 13x178fsb, after the new ram system hang on S@H.
3) I have SLK800a heatsink/fan and used to be around 44C, after the ram it is 50C:Q
4) I feel the system is slow down a bit.

All 3 ram is Samsung, and I have the latest bios. I have try 1x pc2700 and 1x pc3200 and still won't get the dual channel message. I don't have time to run all 3 w/ stock speed but will try it tonite. BTW, any idea of what could course this?

Shouldn't be, what size dimms are each? What dimm slots are you placing them in? If its 2 x 256 and 1 x 512, place the 2 x 256 in slots 1 and 2 and the 512 in slot 3 (or whatever your board outlines for dual channel configuration). Also, manually set the RAM timings to the PC2700 rated speeds. You're probably experiencing instability at 178MHz b/c of your PC2700.

Actually system is rock solid w/ 2x PC2700 256mb @ 178fsb, as soon as I add the PC3200 512 problem start to come. I have try putting those ram on diff slots and still no good.

Well, you are now running multple timed modules of different type and latencies that the controller now has to account for that it doesn't when running soley PC2700 or soley PC3200. I would bet dollars to doughnuts that this factor limits the OC ability of your FSB lower than you now have it. Have you tried running these three sticks at stock speeds and see if you get the same problem?
