Hello, I recently got a deal on a FIC Au13 (nforce2) and an AMD athlon 2200+ (T-bred). My question is whether i should get PC2100 or PC2700 memory? I know having asynchonous speeds are good, so I was thinking about the 266mhz memory. But then again the 333mhz would ensure future upgradeablitiy. Not really planning on overclocking right now. Would i be able to run PC 2700 memory at the lower speed? Thanks.

PC2700 should only be a couple dollars more than the PC2100, so go for it. It will run at PC2100 speeds and may even allow you to run it at lower latencies than cheap PC2100. This will give you more room to upgrade to a 333FSB processor when prices come down more. You should also be able to run your 2200+ at a 166FSB if you wish.

I concur with the Shady one, blow the few extra bucks on PC3200. Then you won't be looking to replace the PC2700 you bought now in 2 or 3 months.
