Nforce1 vs Nforce2

sorry for the misleading title but this is the question,
I found this deal on an HP 774 from staples for around $500 that supposedly uses the NForce (1) MB.
I was weighing the performance difference using an NForce1 against a NForce2 using Athlon 2400+ processor.
Helpful comments welcomed.

The nforce2 based system will be faster and more stable.



and depending on which one you're looking at, lots of goodies :D

It'll be a bit faster, but I wouldn't say it'll be any more stable then a nForce(1). Why waste the money?

I recommend building your own. Be free from the skimpiness that is a HP. Here's my template: nForce systems and they are as stable as anything can be when running Windows.
