Alrighty AnandTechers don't fail me now! I've been looking around and I want to know if the nForce chip supports dual channel PC1600. I see that PC1600 is cheaper for DIMMs with better features than your cheapest PC2100. So, if you could tell me I'd be greatly obliged, because if you do the math dual channel PC1600 is equal to DDR400. Alright that is all and salaam.

Somehow I don't think that's a good solution, because unless you are running a 200MHz-bus CPU such as a Duron or an older Thunderbird, this would result in asynchronous operation of the CPU and RAM, increasing latency. But if you try it, I'd be interested to hear how it works in real-world tasks (as opposed to, say, SiSoft Sandra). An example of a real-world task would be copying the contents of Unreal Tournament Disc 1 to a folder on the hard drive and then compressing the folder with WinZip at Maximum compression.
