Im planning to get an Nforce mobo but i have a stick of 512mb High performance DDr Mushkin ram. Can i use the 128bit feature w/ only one stick of ram or do i need 2? PLZ SOME HELP!!!!!! =D
 
You must use 2 sticks of the same size to get 128-bit. 1 stick gets you 64 bits. Go for it anyway, there isn't THAT much difference, and you can add another 512 stick when the price drops. I am using WinXP Pro, and its a very stable motherboard.

Unfortunately, with only 1 DIMM, you will only be getting 64-bit (220-D) mode. That doesn't matter if you're not going to be using the integrated video, bui if you are, then performance will be terrible when using the integrated video.🙁

Exactly. If you're not going to be using the integrated video, then you don't need the 128-bit dual channel feature. If you are, well, then you're definitely going to need two sticks of RAM in the correct DIMM slots (I don't know if this is true anymore, since my K7N420 isn't having any problems and I haven't needed to test out the "superstability" mode yet witha BIOS update).
