nForce or realtek drivers on ac97

I've got a Msi Plat.2 with Realtek Ac'97 onboard. My question is I know I can install the nforce audio drivers and it will work, but is there any difference between the the nforce and the realtek drivers in quality? Thanks

AHh.. I haven't noticed a difference, I have the same board type as you, i really can't stand the sound of the realtek ac'97, and will get some kind of sound card as soon as possible for my 5.1 surround sound setup.

Even if there was you probably would not be able to hear it. SInce the chipset is NVidia though, you might use those. It is up to you.

i use nforce drivers. i dont trust realtek as much.. might lose some added functions as well using theirs if you have the nforce MCP
