nForce drivers and XP SP2

Is anyone else having problems uninstalling the Nvidia nForce drivers on computers that are running XP with service pack 2? When I went to uninstall the latest nForce drivers it gave me all sorts of error messages and I don't think it ever ended up uninstalling.
 
I have a Nforce 2 Motherboard and have no problems at all. I wouldn't worry too much about uninstall the old ones before install the new ones, I know this is the best way but I have done both and never had any problems.
