First off... Imho, theinquirer sucks for accurate reporting. Sure, they are fun to read for rumors. But take everything with a grain of salt.
As for the nForce delay... I've said it many times that I don't think we'll be seeing nForce motherboards on time. I would be very surprised if the anticipated release dates don't slip, maybe a couple of times.
And if it is true, then nVidia surely isn't going to confirm a rumor found on theinquirer. They'll wait for a better opportunity, when the announcement would be on "their terms". Probably not this close to an event like the Intel Developer Conference, either (where competitors could really milk the delay).
"there are no reports of any internal design flaws or any manufacturing problems."
Even if there were manufacturing or design problems, nVidia wouldn't admit to it at this point. That could be disastrous.
Seems nvidia won't be able to start mass production until end of Q3, begenning of Q4..."
"Actually the last article I read (I believe from xbitlabs), stated that mass production would start in Late August, Early Sept..."
If that's true, and they are referring to chipset manufacturing, they'll be lucky to be able to get enough out before Christmas.
