I'm going to upgrade from a ATI 9800 pro. I want more power for the new games. I just dont have any practicle knowledge of the latest (within the past year) of nvidia cards. I saw a demonstration of Xbox 360 and "WOW". That got me thinking, It's time to upgrade. What I want to know is will I see a big difference between an Nforce 7800 GS and a 6800 GS? I know that the 7800 is a newer and more powerfull card but were talking AGP. Let me hear your infinite wisdom. Thanks, Bolivarted

I went with the 6800gs and couldn't be happier! Unlocked to Ultra speeds is freakin' sweet.....and for considerably less money.

If you must have the best AGP card then get the 7800gs, but from what I've seen and heard I would never recommend that card for the price it is right now.

BTW - I upgraded from an MSI rx9800 pro and believe me, it was an eye opening experience, :woot

Get 6800GS overclocked. 7800GS will be faster no doubt, but it's not worth spending $100 on it imo. $150 buys 2 gigs of DDR2 PC5400 nowdays. Think of 6800GS to hold you over for a year and then dump everything for DDR2 and PCIe and dual core goodness.
