so does that mean they're not bringing them out with the c19 chipset at all anymore? only the c55?

Is it really worth waiting for if you'r e not an Overclocker?

imo it's only worth waiting if you are a hardcore SLI gamer in need of premium SLI board. Other than that there many good Core 2 Duo boards out there.

Yeah, the C19 was the same northbridge used on the Nforce4 SLI x16 Intel Edition, I believe. They were trying to slip it in and rebadge it as the Nforce 590, but it bit 'em in the arse.

If you have no interest in SLI then its a good time to go ahead and buy now. If SLI is a must then gonna have to wait.

as far as i can tell, the asus p5n32-sli prem is still expected to hit major etailers by the end of the month. this is all provided that asus doesn't push back their eta.

If anyone gets wind of an offical release for the 590 please post! Thanks - I can't wait like most of the rest of you... but i guess we will have 2

I bit the bullet and got a P5N32-SLI SE. I see no poing in waiting for the Premium, which will be more expensive, and give me only the advantage of wifi and 6 sata instead of 4. Its the same C19 northbridge, and thats what matters the most (overclocking and memory controller host).

Im sure as hell not waiting for the C55 to come out, my X6800 has been sitting lonely for long enough. My mobo is being delivered tomorrow. Time for some fun.
