I highly doubt it's going to increase their OCing ability.

Seems like no one can touch the Intel chipsets for that 🙁

And before someone says, oh, but RD600...

RD600 is not out.
It's been delayed a lot.

Till we can buy mobos using it, i don't care.
 
I'm not interested in OCing but I hope the availability of the 680i is better than the 590 SLI. It has been about two weeks and nobody has the Asus board featuring the chipset. personally I think its b.S. that no one beside Asus even felt like making the board simply because it had lousy OC abilities. Look at all the less expensive board that can't overclock for $h!t, when all we want is more current technology when it comes to an SLI solution.
