nforce 3 ulta and 4x512

Okay, I just recently stuck 2 more sticks of 512 into my MSI Neo2 Platinum motherboard. All four sticks are GeIL Ultra DDR500. When i ran one gig i ran it at 2t timings at 2.4.4.7. However i put the new sticks in and it defaulted to 166mhz but everything else stayed the same. So i set it to 200mhz and went ahead. However, i started getting hickups in games such as BF2 when i hadnt before and my 3dmark03 score dropped from 6168 to 5500 and my fps took a nose dive. I don't understand, I'm running a 3000 Venice which can do 200mhz at 2t but with mine i switched back and forth between 166 and 200 and they acted the same. Does this motherboard and chipset not take advantage of the venice cores memory controler?
