nForce 3 250 - 754

Apparently we aren't going to see any nForce 3 250 - 754 A64 boards in February. It is strange that they were anounced way back and are anxiously awaited, but we have really heard almost zip about them. I would expect someone to leak something, perhaps even something as simple as, "NF#-250 rocks." I am beginning to wonder if there are some issues with NF3 250???

It is getting to where 939 A64 boards are getting close enough that my interest in nForce 3 250 - 754 is waning.

I don't think its that they have any issues, i think they are waiting for AMD to release the 1 GHZ Hypertransport chips.

Looks like NF3 250 will be officially released March 1 with availability in April, at least according to a story here from the Inq. It's not clear to me if the 754 pin NF3 250 boards will be out any earlier than the 939 pin boards.

Note too that that NF3 250 will be "able to have its AGP and PCI fixed." Of course, that's what we want, but that's interestiing too because the rumor is that the NF3 150 is able to have its AGP and PCI fixed, but somehow that didn't fully happen in implementation. Hopefully that all gets ironed out with NF3 250.

Almost too much new stuff happening. I'm itching to upgrade something but leary of jumping the gun on what could be some really interesting new platforms. Maybe we can start a support group for those of us who are having a hard time waiting...
