The ESPN NFL schedule shows the vast majority of games at 1pm. WTF is up with that?

It seemed like there were way more 4:15 and 8:15 games years ago. Also, I remember being able to watch the Bears games almost every week on basic cable. Now, I'd have to pay extra to put an ugly-ass dish in my yard to watch them.

I swear.. the NFL is going downhill - even though it seems like it's at the height of its popularity.

I hate 1pm games. 1pm games are for losers that sit inside all day and don't get any exercise of their own.

The irony of your post is that if the NFL scheduled them later their would be somebody complaining about that and wanting them to be scheduled at 1 p.m. For me, I am thankful that I am able to watch them regardless of time. Theres a saying that holds true... "you don't know what rich is till you have been poor". Going back a few years one can remember that they were happy to see the AFL play on NBC AND catch CBS playing a NFL game, no such thing as double headers.

I know a lot of people on the east coast that do not like later games simply because they want to go to bed at a relatively decent time.

I get enough excercise pacing back and forth for 3 hours screaming at the tv and dashing to the refridgerator during timeouts.
