Oh Darren how we've waited for you here in Oakland. 89 yards on that drive in 3 plays, that was the best drive for the Raiders in 6 years.

That's how you know how bad the Chiefs are. Losing to a not very good Raiders team twice at home is just pathetic (I do give Oakland some credit though, they did a pretty good job today). While I was iffy last season, I am now certain it can be laid at the feet of Herm. They could have won that game at New England, but they had the worst play calling I've ever seen. It wasn't any better today. What they were thinking putting the third string QB in at all let alone as soon as they did I'll never know. I want Herm canned before the end of the season. Hopefully Carl will go after the season is over and Chan Gailey can go with both of them. Bring Al Saunders back and let him be the head coach like they should have done when Vermeil retired. Or go after Cowher, or even bring Marty back.

It's probably not a good sign that for most of today, Oakland's best player was their kicker and the Chiefs their punter. McFadden stepped it up though.

Uh..Dmac 21 carries for 164, Bush 16 for 90, a TD a piece, and they had 2 INTs on defense and 5 sacks. They had a lot of great performances today

marv lewis should've been fired two years ago maybe, but definitely after last year. the team has no emotion.

I'm almost hoping they stink it up for a few more weeks (which I'm sure they will) so we can see about getting some coaching changes. Lewis only finished above .500 once, and that was only because of a huge turnover ratio in favor of the Bengals. They were forcing 4 turnovers a game that year. However, the biggest problem is the fucking owners of the team. They are the main cause of the problems.
is lewis in charge of personnel? i don't follow them that much to know. i just wish they would be competitve again, sucks to see Palmer surrounded by a bunch of under-performers, imo.

lewis sucks as a head coach, i hope he isn't in charge of the draft and player signings.

I'm almost sure the Bengals organization does not have a true GM, and most of that is taken care of by the Brown family. I could be wrong, though.

You thought Delhomme against the Bears D would do better than Manning against the Rams? I don't feel sorry for you at all.

I did not think the bears defense was that good...and I did not think the rams defense was that bad....:p

that's be a problem, what's his name, paul brown jr heading the organization? seems like a ignorant fool the few interviews i've seen him in...

Not so much I guess. I like everyone thinking TN sucks. Flying under the radar is fine by me.

I wonder how long it will take for people to take notice of the Titans. Regardless of who is playing QB that defense has to rank among the best in the league. And with the addition of Chris Johnson the running game has an element we have never seen before on this team. Personally I hope people overlook us all the way to the playoffs. :)

doubt they'll go anywhere, tho i think fisher is a good coach and they have talent at RB and both lines, they won't go anywhere without a qb

edit- btw, is fisher in charge of personnel decisions there? that's be even more impressive.

They went to the playoffs last year without a QB. They are a better team this year and will be back again. Everyone keep thinking that they suck because they are a small market team. I for one like being overlooked right up until KVB and Haynesworth eat a QBs spleen.

Not a surprise. Brian Schottenheimer needs to be fired ASAP. He's a terrible OC. Talk about a timid offense... still playing like Penny or Clemens are behind center.

Fisher has a lot of control there from what I understand. I'm not sure if he makes all of the decisions though. I would expect it though since he's been there for 14 years.

Have you watched the Titans yet this year? Also, just a point of interest, the Titans actually had the #1 scoring defense that year... or was it total yards... can't remember which but the Ravens D that year was only #1 in one of the two categories (total yards or total points allowed).

i watch them as often as i can, they were one of the replays on the terrible nfl network this week.

they're a good, solid team and i like the way they play ball. fact is, is they don't have a real qb. how many teams have won the sb with a shaky qb? ravens in 2002 or whatever, and that's about it.

The Bears probably would have won one a few years ago, cept Grossman was not injured, so they lost.
