GO LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

woo hoo, football is here!!!! 😎

(there needs to be an Official NFL thread for our Sunday trash talk... )

Falcons are in rebuilding mode and they made the Lions look bad. 😱

Gotta love Chris Johnson for the Titans. If that guy's body can hold up to NFL punishment the Titans are going to be in great shape.

Titans over Jag-offs 😀

The win over the jag-offs was worth the sunburn I have right now!!!

Go Titans!

Just think how good the Titans might be with an actual QB.

Vince made some pretty horribly throws today. Then again, he made some pretty good throws that hit receiver's right in the hands and got dropped.....

kind of funny comparison

LT's stats
21 for 97 yds 0 TD

Turner's stats
22 for 220 2 TD

I said it during the AFC title game that LT's a quitter and has been. The GM's traded the wrong person to Atlanta.

they were playing DETROIT though.

me and you could have ran for 100 against the Lions today.

did you see how many missed tackles they had on Turner alone, in the 1st quarter? easily 10 missed tackles on him in the 1st Q. he's a strong runner and he made a few guys miss, but the majority was just shitty Lions fundamentals. something Rod Marinelli constantly maintains they are going to get right every time - "the fundamentals". what a piss-poor team.

He's what you call a bruising runner. He hits you, you don't hit him. Tacklers bounce off from him.

he won't have another game like that this year. the Lions D BLOWS, and they especially blow at stopping the run.

On the bright side, if you're going to lose, it's best to lose to a team from the opposite conference.

Very true...got the 49er's and Rams coming up- those are much more important. It was just a painful game to watch though

If you've ever really seen Turner play before in college or even the few glimpses we got to see of him in San Diego despite being overshadowed by LT, you'd probably easily agree that he's the real deal and is going to have a lot of success.

yep. all i'm saying is yesterday he was playing a college-calibre team so let's not give him the league MVP just yet.

I think anyone would agree that this was a crazy week in football.

Not to take away anything from buffalo, but it wasn't that they were so good, its that the Seahawks played that bad.... I seriously hope this is a wake up call like the first game of the 2005 season (losing to jax then going to the SB 😀 ).

there are no college-calibre teams. even the worst NFL team would still be far better then any college team.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen someone say in a football discussion, and I'm from Philly!

LT is easily the best RB in the game, maybe all time if he keeps it up.
