This guy is scumbag extraordinaire. TO is just the biggest client he's got that's holding out for more money. He's got Sean Taylor holding out, too - he's in his second year, still has multiple years left on his deal. Same with Anquan Boldin, Javon Walker, Ruben Drougns, and a boatload of others.

Just had to post this, I hate seeing TO getting all the blame in the press for getting bad advice from his agent . . .

Didn't he have another client who was a Packer, held out for more $, and eventually got sent to a crappy team for less than he was making in Green Bay? Too lazy to google it.

it is not all his fault, some of the fault is def. the players

Chad Johnson is also one of his clients and he has said numerous times that he plans on playing out his entire contract because that is the contract he agreed to

so dont say its not the players fault

Yep. I couldn't remember who it was. Playing for the saints now.....guess he shoulda kept his mouth shut, huh?

Rosenhaus has like 3 other clients who are holding out too.

I hope Philly doesn't cave. Realistically, they have to, but still.....

I dont think Mike is making any less money in NO. There's no reason he'd sit out, demand more money, get traded, then accept a lower salary.

TO is screwed. He's not going to camp. The Eagles aren't going to re-negotiate, and may even demand that TO starts paying the Eagles back. He's also burned his bridges in Philly, you don't go around dogging the QB that the entire city loves.

Wait a minute. TO fired his agent so that he could hold out (he thought the last one couldn't get him enough money). Then went out and got Drew to represent him because Drew is good at negotiating holdouts (maybe not good as they end up being holdouts, lets say experienced). Pure greed, nothing more. As Favre said the other day to Javon Walker (through the media) "This is not the way to go about doing things." Basically you should play through your contract and talk to ownership throughout the season to get a new deal done. In both cases we are talking one good year with their respective teams. TO has more leverage with his history, but he just signed the contract and is basically being a whiny brat asking for even more money.

So...who was it again that threw Donovan McNabb under the bus after the Super Bowl not once but twice? Oh, it was TO. Not Rosenahaus.

He's not making less money, he's playing under his original contract and making the same that he would have with the Packers. Thing is, if you could play for the Packers or the Saints, who would you choose?

Do you think the Eagles won't renegotiate? As much as I hate TO, he is the top receiver in the league. Philly is itching for a championship and TO may be an integral part to getting one. He certainly was a friggin? moron when he dogged on McNabb. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Just shows the guy's arrogance and lack of class.

Of course, he had a bit of a point. McNabb in the Super Bowl was some of the WORST clock management I have ever seen. He may not have been tired, but he sure was stupid.

Rosenhaus is a deal-maker. Players come to him because he has a reputation for getting things done, which he does. He's not like the Postons that convince ALL their clients to hold out. Here's the difference:

Rosenhaus:
- Reputation for getting deals signed
- Will consent to a player holding out if it's necessary
- Players come to HIM to get things done

Postons:
- Reputation for strong-arming teams
- Will convince a player to hold out even to the point where it's detrimental to both the player and the team
- Players that are signed by they will ALWAYS hold out if they don't get what they ask for

Rosenhaus isn't the problem here. TO didn't like his deal, but in the end, it was he who signed it. Fvck him. I admire his ability, but at some point you have to say enough is enough. The thing is, he's going to be remember as much for being an a$$hole as he will for being a great player.

TO is afraid to go across the middle? Are you serious?

I hate the Eagles but this smells of bitter 49er fan or something. Maybe bitter eagles fan.

TO is a piece of crap that can't keep his mouth shut about his teammates. That is why he's getting all the blame.

TO is an idiot. I think if you agree to a contract, you should stick to it. That's what a contract is. If I owned the Eagles, I'd be on the phones trying to trade him.

In talking about why he deserved a new contract, he said "I wasn't the one who got tired in the Superbowl", referring to McNabb.

Smart, real smart, rip on the guy who A) convinced Reid to bring you here and B) throws you the damn ball C) has the backing of the entire Philadelphia Metro area.

Yes I am serious. Watch him accross the middle if he'll run the route. He's not sharp or crisp. If he hears footsteps he will drop or not try to catch the ball.
