"Internet threats of ?dirty bomb? attacks at NFL stadiums this weekend were a hoax inspired by a writing competition between two men trying to come up with scary threats, a law enforcement official said yesterday.
The threats, which were posted on a Web site last week and mentioned stadiums in seven U.S. cities, were deemed to be false by the FBI after agents questioned a 20-year-old Milwaukee man. "

Today on CNN it said they arrested the Milwaulkee man. Story

What you put out on the internet can certainly come back to bite you.

Freedom of speech is not absolute. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater.

I should have included a  to convey my sarcasm.

I wonder what the chain of events was that brought the original posting of the threat to the attention of the Feds? I wonder if someone reported it, or if they just found it through monitoring.
