NFL thread

dammit i cannot find another NFL thread for today... mods, delete this if it's a repost

Watching Jags / Colts!

i encourage everyone to poke fun at my Pro-Line ticket:

CAR win by 7
NE win by 7
PIT win by 4
OAK win by 7
TEN win by 8
WSH win by 7
KC win or lose by less than 3

$4 ticket pays $300... and no i haven't won yet this year 😛

i'd pick the bears but they just don't have enough offense and pittsburgh has a pretty good defense

anybody want ot speculate on what jimmy smith and the backup qb will be able to do against a quick Indy defense?
how about pittsburgh against best defese on recent memory chicago(who's set ot set the record for fewest points allowed in a season, the previous record was by a 80s bears team).

IMO, you can't overlook something like that as well...

They don't get a 1st round bye for winning the division

If they win today, all 3 of those will happen...

Looking to become the fourth team in NFL history to go 13-0, the Colts try to lock up the AFC South title, a first-round bye and home-field advantage for the playoffs when they visit the Jaguars.

Yes, but the Colts are the #1 seed in the Conference. Only the top 2 seeds in the AFC will get a bye. Right now those teams are Indy and Denver

I am stuck in the computer lab at my gf's school watching the espn ticker on the colts. How do they look? Looks like they scored on the 1st posession of the game, on what seemed to be a pretty impressive drive

...They won't have a first round bye and home field advantage. Where did you come up with that? The Colts are sitting at 12-0 and the Pats are 7-5...simple math says they can't even reach 12 wins, so they *can't* have home field advantage. As far as the first round bye, they will need a bigtime downfall by the Bengals and Broncos, which is HIGHLY unlikely...

Manning hit 4 different receivers on the drive. TD was to Harrison.. pretty textbook, efficient, and pretty much Indy.

not that i'm a fan or anything :Q

Still, New England will be scary in the playoffs! And they're already beating Buffalo...

Pats need the Fish to lose. I'll bet either one of two things happen in the Pats Bills game. 1, Bills are in the game, if not the lead in the fourth, then fall apart as usual. 2, Pats will blow the Bills out. The Bills REALLY need a better o-line.
