Dallas might be playing like ass right now, but I'm plenty excited for the playoffs (like every year).

Chargers-Saints superbowl, anyone?

Ladainian Tomlinson may very well be the best NFL player of all time. That team is scary.

I don't think the NFC has a chance...the funny thing about the NFC is that the only team with a winning record against the AFC (3-1) is the 5th seeded, 9-7 Cowboys...

Sorry, I guess I never really registered the Giants as a playoff team - talk about backing in...

Anyways, the Cowboys might as well be a "6th" seed @ 9-7 and losing to the Lions before going to the playoffs.

yea, that was pretty bad

but all in all I think Dallas has a better chance as 5th seed than they would have if they'd won the division. First, they're playing much better on the road for some reason, and second, I'd say the Saints are much, much better than the Mr 0.0 rating-led Bears.

I would suggest not putting 50 bucks on this.

Even though I am a HUGE Cowboys fan, I'm more nervous than excited. Maybe the silver lining here is that they have played their absolute worst football yet and now it is out of their system. If the defense doesn't change their tune, they'll get the hurt put on them even by a mediocre Seattle team.

I suppose the beauty of the NFC is that every team is equally crappy, so it is anyone's tourney to win right now.

As of today, right now, I'm picking San Diego over New Orleans in the Super Bowl.

Deeko, you should just make an official Chargers/Saints superbowl thread right now. A good game, one the Chargers would and will win.

You never can, the facts speak for themselves. I just don't think they'll make it there this year.

Anything to keep my mind off from the grand I spent on holiday cheer.

I've been a Saint's fan for as long as I've been a fan of pro football. One part of being a Saints fan is coming to terms with reality.

The Saints have a truly monstrous offense this year, but they're pretty weak against the run. LT should have a field day against them in a superbowl scenario.

I think that the Saints might actually win if it comes down to a QB shootout, but the Bolt's strong running game vs the Saint's weak run defense would probably tip the scales.

But you never know... We still play the games for a reason right?

That?s absolutely correct. The key to a Saints win will be for the defense to come up with 2-3 stops so that the offence can get up by at least 14 points. IF they can do that and if the opposing team abandon their game plan we stand a chance. It is tough for a team that is down 14-21 points to pound the ball and eat up the clock especially when we have an offence that is very capable of marching the ball right back down the field.
