NFL news: Arbitrator awards Chad Morton to the Redskins

In a stunning move that is certain to fan the flames of enmity between the two teams, arbitrator Richard Bloch ruled Monday that the New York Jets failed to properly match a restricted free-agent offer sheet to Chad Morton, and instead awarded the prized return specialist to the Washington Redskins.

This just in: Block is a beloved patriot ticket holder
Ya, this is fair :disgust:

Here's hoping Sammy Knight and the Steelers can come to an agreement.... Knight was in Pittsburgh today for a visit. 🙂

I am pretty sure that an arbitrator didn't base his decision on what is best for the team he holds tickets for.

If I had to guess, I'd say that most people whose work is affiliated with the NFL are football fans, and thus season ticket holders regardless of where they live. That said, he probably should have disqualified himself from making the decision because of the perception of conflict of interest.

While this all seems slimy, as a beloved patriot hater, I'll say I think the arbitrator made the right decision.

Exactly... they should of at least gotten an arbitrator that has season tickets to a team that isnt on either the Jets or beloved patriot's schedule.
