This game sounded potentially fun to me... but I haven't heard a word about it from anybody who's played it. Has anybody played it? Is the game good or really bad, or is it just a complete flop that nobody is buying?

I don't understand who would enjoy it.

It sounds kind of like an updated "Choose Your Own Adventure" game. Except, instead of deciding whether to take a shortcut through the woods or take the long path that goes around the hill, you decide whether you should practice 2 times a day or once a day on a short practice week.

In other words, your decisions are likely to be random whims because the game is geared towards fans pretending to be coaches, not coaches pretending to be coaches.

Sounds like the ol' Oregon Trail game.

It might be decent for older players (like my dad) who wouldn't be into controlling the individual aspects of the game (like which player to pass to and then applying the proper touch to the pass). Simply coming up with decent strategy and calling the right plays at the right times could be fun for such players. I could see liking it over a game of Madden if you don't want to get too involved the gameplay, say you're just feeling a little lazy. However I could also see it getting pretty boring/frustrating with time...
