Ha...49ers have to travel to Lambeau field....gonna be zero out that day....good luck Jimmy G!!!
The NFL just announced that both teams will have to deal with the same weather and the same playing field.

Maybe he has bad luck against the 9ers but I really don't see the Packers losing in a frigid Lambeau Field. I would laugh though because I'm no Packers fan.
The Green Bay Packers are 7-6 in their last 13 home playoff games. These are not your grandfather's Packers.

If anything, cold might be a disadvantage for the passing game. San Fran prefers to run if they can anyway.
This is conventional thinking, but less relevant in the passing heavy era we play in today. The footballs are kept climate-controlled to Tom Brady's exact specifications. Skill players keep their hands warm, and there's heat on the sidelines as well. Lambeau Field doesn't freeze anymore like the infamous Ice Bowl.

Josh Allen tossed 5 TDs last week in frigid conditions (although IIRC the broadcast mentioned their field isn't even heated). So the players manage and as long as the wind isn't gusting, they can still pass the ball. Now as a huge Packers fan, you couldn't pay me enough to attend Saturday's game in below freezing conditions. I'm much happier watching from the comfort and warmth of home. I'm already cold when it's 50 degrees in SoCal. :tearsofjoy:

Bucs will face a legit opponent and their O-line is wounded, not good if your facing Donald/Von Miller tandem with a 43 yr old QB. Can Allen maintain the level of play he showed vs Pats?, certainly the KC offense will be a much more difficult challenge than the Pats provided.

The 9ers lately have actually been a VERY good cold weather team in the playoffs. I remember Kaepernick and company wearing short sleeves and laughing about the cold after absolutely demolishing the pack at Lambeau. Will have to see if the current crew can maintain a similar mentality.

Now predicting 3 and -7

Was pretty dang chilly when Eli and the Giants came to town too and it didn't help a MUCH younger Rodgers and the Packers a lot back then.

😉

Of course NYC may not be quite as cold as GB but we DO have "winter" here unlike SF. (or LA/Tampa)

From the NFL subreddit:

This is the 5th time the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have met in the playoffs. The winner of the 4 previous matches has went on to lose the Super Bowl.
