Was pretty dang chilly when Eli and the Giants came to town too and it didn't help a MUCH younger Rodgers and the Packers a lot back then.

;)

Of course NYC may not be quite as cold as GB but we DO have "winter" here unlike SF. (or LA/Tampa)
That game was cold, but in the 20s.

You're probably thinking of the 2007 NFC champ game that ended up being Brett Favre's last as a Packer. Even in 2008, there was plenty of passing in that game despite all the talk of below 0 wind chill. A few players were sleeveless.

Yeah that's the game. On the Giants ridiculous wild card run through Tampa, through Dallas and then that freezing game which was Brett's last. It was minus 4 without the wind chill and Tom Coughlin's face was a meme

From the NFL subreddit:

This is the 5th time the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have met in the playoffs. The winner of the 4 previous matches has went on to lose the Super Bowl.
renderTimingPixel.png

20-21 AFC Championship - Chiefs win and lose Super Bowl to Tampa
93-94 AFC Championship - Bills win and lose Super Bowl to Dallas
91-92 Divisional Round - Bills win and lose Super Bowl to Washington
66-67 AFL Championship - Chiefs win and lose Super Bowl to Green Bay
Pretty much meaningless, most of those are 25+ years ago, if you look at the entire Bills/Patriots won/lost record you'd see the Pats with a large advantage, but it's a meaningless stat, the Bills NOW have a far superior team and mopped the floor with the Pats 2 weeks ago.

You mean Red SOX correct?, the issue became players who wanted to somehow win a championship after 7-8 decades of futility and failing to "play loose". As another example, the Pats 2007 season, they had reeled off 17 wins in a row and arrived at the SB to face the Giants. The Giants, who were not even favored to get far in the playoff's played like the game was "house money", the Pats seemed very uptight, can't blame them, what was on the line would have been the most epic NFL season ever, I believe that tension played a part in them losing the game.

Titans, Packers, Rams, Bills in order of confidence. The Bills look to be peaking at the right time , but it's difficult betting against KC at home.

Will we see shirtless fans in the stands?
Walruses simply have more insulation to handle the elements.

Trends are useful for gambling.

Just like the ways the Cowboys blow a game in the playoffs.
I'm pretty sure he means the curse of Red Six.

That seems the big if lately. Is he even healthy?

"Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Garoppolo suffered a right shoulder sprain in the second quarter of Sunday's 23-17 wild-card win over the Cowboys, but the quarterback is expected to return to practice Tuesday"

~ CBS Sports

Not sure if he practiced or not.

If he's not at least 90% or so its going to be a long, cold night for SF.

How do you know he's not better with an injured shoulder? :p

With four relatively evenly matched games, there will be an "upset" if not two. Hopefully tomorrow and not tonight LOL. I'm terrible at predictions so I'll leave it at that. Go Pack Go!

Also his throwing thumb has a chipped bone and ligament sprain/damage.

I have no idea although if anyone feels motivated to find out I'm sure the local SF sports guys were all over it.

FWIW I would have picked healthy GB at home in cold weather after a week off even if SF was 100%.

More then anything though I just want FOUR tight games with no major blunders by the officials.

It was several weeks ago but absolutely correct and THAT is a bad injury to have in serious cold making it very tough to grip the football. (the longer the game goes on the more it will potentially hurt)

So would've guessed that Tannehill throws a pick on the first play? 😬

Is this the match-up of the two worst offensive lines vs the two best defensive lines?
