NFL: Collins in Gannon out.

i'm not sure there is any reason to have gannon start ahead of collins anymore.

this offense is designed more for collins than gannon. that HUGE offensive line, the corp of receivers that can get downfield. collins arm. this is made to order for him. gannon is better at the nit picky stuff, but he can never throw the kind of bombs and long throws that collins makes.

I don't know. Physically I'd say Collins is sharper, but I think Gannon is a smarter QB who will make less mental mistakes.

that's what norv turner is for.

as long as kerry executes the plays that turner draws up, the raiders are better with collins.

gannon just doesn't have the arm to make the kind of throws that kerry can.

And Raider football has always been about the quarterback going deep down the field - Stabler, Lamonica, Plunkett, Schroeder, and even Hostetler.

yup, al davis has always liked the vertical game.

What can I say, I hate Kerry Collins.

He went to my rival high school. He could be on the Cowboys and I'd still hate him.
