Does anyone else think this is utterly ridiculous? I posted under my anonymous name, as I know some might construe this as being racist. Controversial at least. But I think it's stupid to investigate why the Lions hired Mariucci without interviewing any minority candidates. When you have a big-name coach like Mariucci available, you don't waste your time interviewing coaches like Dennis Green, who haven't had the same recent success. And is the problem that they didn't interview African Americans? Or could they have gotten by with interviewing Hispanics, Jews, or Asians? I'm assuming Mariucci's Italian. In the breakdown of caucasians, is the Italian population less than 50%? Would that make Mariucci a minority? See how stupid this is? What is the South Paw Society was upset that they didn't interview any left-handed people? How many homosexuals did they interview?
