NFL: 2005 - Come cast your vote!

Most improved: Bengals
Most disappointing: Lions
AFC Champs: New England
NFC Champs: Seattle
Biggest bust: Culpepper *
Worst Coach: Denny Green
MVP: Peyton
Worst team: Lions

* - i might reconsider this vote now... at least Culpepper is injured. there are active, non-injured guys that were much bigger busts, ie. Harrington / Rogers.

I consider the Lions to be the worst regardless of their 4 wins. I am absolutely amazed that they won 4 times - their crappiness is becoming the stuff of legend.

btw: nice poll

My thoughts exactly. Jamal Lewis was a first round pick, HUGE disappointment. And Norv Turner is a joke, he has incredible offensive personel and can't score any touchdowns.

Carson Palmer really paid off for Bengals. Best #1 QB draft pick in the past... 25 years?

Yes, but that was not a poll question.

Ok, Carson Palmer for MVP then.

- Bengals
- Raiders
- Bengals
- Seattle
- Vick
- Turner
- Palmer
- Lions

Most Improved: Bears (Bengals are a CLOSE second)
Disappointment: Lions
AFC: Colts
NFC: Seahawks
Bust: Harrington (or Rodgers)
Worst Coah: Jauron (Lions)
MVP: Alexander (b/c Peyton can win every year)
Worst Team: Lions(the Saints are right there with them, the Texans are close)

Not in the poll, but for most improved, I like Carson Palmer.

guys, the Lions are worse than the Texans. Trust me! 😉

true and to no fault joey harrington. most of his picks were off bobbled catches, many incompletions off bobbled catches, and the reason the lions should have been good (and it is true, had this guy had a huge season, we'd be around .500), a guy that should be added to the biggest bust of the season, KEVIN JONES.

where were you bud?

too, ford and millen need to go. as does the wc offence.

Is it really fair to put Dick Juron on the list of bad coaches? He's basically a place holder until the end of the season. You can't really blame him for the mess that Millan and Mooch made. And he certainly isn't going to fix anything in three weeks.

My Buffalo Bills really let me down this year.
Lots of talent, and threw away countless games.

They should easily be in playoff contention right now.

it's kind of funny you mention that... yesterday in his post-game press conference, i really felt kinda bad for the guy even having to answer a lot of the questions that were being asked. oh, to be the point man for those lovely Lions 🙂

my lovely Lion lumps 🙂

I thought about that, but his days at Chicago justified his entry.
