NF8 reboot problem

Just installed an abit nf8 s754 and an a64 3200. it boots and gets past post, but reboots before getting to winxp screen. basically right after post there is a black screen, a flash of a blue screen/writing, then it reboots. ive tried to boot in safe mode, but still did not work. any help?

It seems like you have the blue screen of death with automatic restart. Try a clean install of windows.

thanks guys, i put another hard drive in and it booted, so i think it needs a clean install.
