NF8 BIOS shenanigans...

Gonna fire this off before going out. I'm trying to update my NF8 BIOS to revision 17 in order to support Turion. I KNOW my floppy is a functional bootable (boots in other computers), but for some damn reason it won't detect on my NF8. I've disconnected the HDD and CD drives, set the first boot device to "Floppy", but I still get a message claiming there's no startup disc. Both the cable and floppy drive are tested good. Am I just an idiot? Help me help myself... please.
