I think that anyone here who has a FSB above 220 has done the mod. Personally I have not.... I hear it is pretty simple to do requiring only a lead pencil.

i've done it!!!

+ the vtt mod and the vdimm mod...

i haven't gained a single mhz from doing it...

i think part of the problem is being able to find a suitable bios..


people report being able to hit 220 mhz pre-mod / pre-beta-bios...

then post mod, they'll still be stuck at 220 mhz but then change to a new beta bios and hit 240 mhz...

i haven't found that magical bios for me yet 🙁

i've tried a modded tictac bios d10 and another d23 rev 1 fire bios and still stuck at the same spot.

some people don't even do the vdd mod and still hit 240 mhz but with the right bios.
